303 Vehicles Take Emission Test in Pegangsaan Dua

As many as 303 vehicles participated the emission test held by Jakarta Environmental Agency together with BRI Finance on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, North Jakarta, Tuesday (12/3). As the result, 102 vehicles failed the test.

Jakarta Environmental Agency's Environment Pollution Prevention Sub-group Head, Tiyana Brotoadi said of 303 vehicles participated emission test, 133 of them were four-wheeled vehicles and 94 of them failed the test.

Then 170 motorcycles also participated emission test with 53 of them failed the test.

Free Emission Test in Pegangsaan Dua Targets 400 Vehicles

"We recommend for maintenance and repair for vehicles failed the test to meet the required emission," he said, Wednesday (12/4).

Acting Jakarta Environmental Agency Head, Sarjoko explained the emission test was held to facilitate residents test their vehicless. Moreover, the test was also aimed to socialize and educate residents to minimize emission.

"We appeal the owners to routinely maintain their vehicles to meet the standard emission," he stated.
